Bespoke Joinery Salcombe

Excellent bespoke craftsmanship and service We first used Rawlings Joinery back in 2020, when they made all the new bespoke sash windows for our Victorian property, Hoe Park House in Plymouth, carefully recreating the originals. They also made bespoke patio doors and the three main entrance doors, all individually made to measure. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and we were delighted with the results.

Since then, we have returned to Rawlings for a number of other projects. One particularly unusual job involved creating an opening mechanism for an extremely large sash picture window in our main stairwell, allowing us to clean the outside of the window which is otherwise completely inaccessible from the exterior.

Most recently, they made a bespoke glazed vestibule door for us, once again recreating the original Victorian design and incorporating Hoe Park House brand colours into the glass design. It looks absolutely wonderful and is exactly what we had hoped for.

Throughout all of these projects, the service from Rawlings has been second to none. They are friendly, knowledgeable and reliable, always happy to offer sound advice, and the standard of their workmanship is consistently excellent. They are simply a pleasure to deal with.

We already have our next project for them in the planning stages and, once we have decided exactly what we need, we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. After working with Rawlings for more than six years, we can recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent workmanship. Great company to deal with. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We have used Rawlings Joinery on several occasions over the years, and they have always been outstanding. When we converted our 11-bedroom B&B into our family home, they manufactured and fitted all of our timber windows, doors and double glazing to an exceptional standard. The quality of the workmanship was second to none. They are currently making a beautiful porch door with stained glass for us, and once again the service has been excellent. The team are professional, friendly, reliable and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. If you’re looking for high-quality bespoke joinery and genuine craftsmanship, we couldn’t recommend Rawlings Joinery highly enough. An excellent local company that consistently delivers outstanding results.

Superb service Really happy with my staircase renovation, looks fabulous! Thanks to all!

Delighted We recently had our stairway refurbished with Oak. The whole process from start to finish went like clockwork. Jane and Sarah in the office were very helpful. Paul helped with the design and made some excellent suggestions and we could not fault the workmanship and cleanliness of Rich and Olly.

We had a similiar refurbishment undertaken in our last house by a well known national company. I would say the quality of the work from both companies was of a similiar standard but Rawlings Joinery was much better value.

G and J Roborough.

All work completed on time with excellent communication. The fitters were fantastic- first rate job . Would highly recommended.

Absolutely first class service from start to finish. So pleased with our Oak and Glass Staircase, it truly is stunning! Would definitely recommend and use this company again with no hesitation.

Beautiful Front Door By chance, we popped into Rawlings last September to see if they would make a front door for us . They were fully booked for 6 months ( which was impressive ) Steven drew up
my ideas into a proper design and was very helpful and happy to answer any questions that I had and gave me some good advice about the right style door for my house . The door has been been beautifully made and finished , working in conjunction with a separate company who were making me a coloured glass insert . The standard of workmanship on the door is excellent and the fitting was completed easily and professionally . Rawlings Administration team have also been excellent , polite and responsive despite my many emails and questions, making communication smooth and easy
We definitely recommend the whole team at Rawlings , if you wanted a well made , beautiful door or another joinery project. It was the first time we had anything bespoke made and I’m so pleased we chose Rawlings do this for us
